Opt4STEM is looking for Exelon employees who are interested in inspiring and engaging with Von Steuben students to teach them the skills necessary to excel in a STEM field. These opportunities include:

Engineering Week:

A vital part of OptSTEM is providing  Von students with unique opportunities to increase their interest in STEM. Exelon employees are invited to share their passion and knowledge during Engineering Week. Exelon hosts one day of this week long event, bringing engineering related activities to engage the students and expose them to the field of engineering.

STEM Mock Interviews

In order to prepare Von Steuben students for life after high school, particularly entering the work force, Exelon employees are needed to pass on their experience and knowledge by guiding students through the interview process and providing them feedback on how to improve their interview skills.
